Julius earned his BSBA in Finance while competing in Division I football. A transfer from th US Naval Academy in Annalpolis, under Paul Johnson, Julius earned an opportunity to play under Skip Holtz. After completing his redshirt year and a third ACL surgery, he chose to retire from athletics during his senior year and transition into financial services. His coursework in corporate finance, investments, and portfolio management laid the foundation for his career in wealth management, compliance, and risk advisory. The discipline and resilience forged on the field continue to influence his leadership and problem-solving style in business.

To expand his technical expertise, Julius completed the Financial Planning Certificate Program through Rice University. The program emphasized retirement planning, tax strategies, insurance, estate planning, and fiduciary ethics aligned with CFP® standards. At SMU’s Cox School of Business, Julius concentrated on financial strategy, risk management, and the applications of generative AI in finance. His MBA included consulting projects for U.S. and international companies, such as sustainability initiatives in South Africa and competitive intelligence research in consumer payments. His capstone explored AI-driven investment frameworks, reinforcing his focus on innovation, compliance, and long-term value creation.
